I'm newer to your blog . Your videos are really inspiring me to applique. You are a natural teacher!
You mentioned using the batting to combat "show thru". Is this your main technique for that? I have a project in mind using a black background. I suspect beforehand that show thru will be an issue.

I also use a lightweight fusible woven interfacing to help with this. I bought a bolt several years ago and I dont know what it is. I just ordered a new product and Im going to give it a try and I will let people know if it works
