I’ve made a little progress on my fall basket quilt and I wanted to share these steps with you.
I appliquéd the woven basket stems, handle and bottom first.
Then I added my pumpkin and appliquéd it down.
Finally I added the basket top.
These baskets can get a little bulky so I wanted to make sure everything was nicely secured before adding all those flowers and leaves.

I LOVE your pumpkin basket! So cute!

This will make a lovely medallion quilt. The green stripe on the basket adds a nice touch. Can't wait to see all the fall flowers in it along with the pumpkin. Hope you get to add the coneflowers as in your diagram.
