I have a light box that I absolutely love, but sometimes I am not in the mood to haul it out. Especially for something simple. So here’s what I do instead. Take your pattern.
Find a sunny window and flip it over and trace the lines on the back side.
Ta Da..now you have your full sized pattern.
AND here is how you get the second block off the download!


You can also use your large ruler - 12 X 12 or whatever size you have if it is dark out.

I've used a window many times. Lately I put my big square ruler between my ironing board and my table, put a lamp under it and trace from there. Whatever it takes to get the job done!

I've used the window too! While at a retreat recently, I used a small Ott light under my sewing machine extension table - it worked great!

Hi Erin, I think i have an easier way to get your copy than using a window. Check to see if your printer has a mirror image. Print one of each us sticky tape together and you have a full size pattern. Quick than a window.
