(For all you EQ pro’s out there I apologize for being so behind the times here)
So, I’ve been messing around with my new EQ7 and I have discovered this really great feature… you can actually go to fabric websites and import images of their fabric and use them in EQ7. The picture shown above is just a preliminary version of a pieced sampler I’m designing. I’m using the Moda fabric line Summer Breeze II from Sentimental Studios. I just went over to Moda and downloaded the fabric pictures. From there I could put them in the quilt and see how they looked before I even took a stitch. Amazing!!!!

Erin, I have been an EQ fan since EQ5 and it is so much fun to play around with. My little ones even used to play with it, setting blocks and changing fabrics. It's great for me to get a visual on what I'm seeing in my head. I still need a lot of practice drawing applique blocks freehand, but there are some great books by Angie Padilla on this subject. She's amazing! Have fun and Enjoy!

Did you know you can fussy cut & rotate fabric patches too? I love EQ and can lose hours at a time just playing. Have fun.

I have EQ5 and does not find it very user friendly. Is EQ7 more user friendly?

I've had EQ7 for some time now but no time to sit and play with it. I hope to find time when the busy season slows down at work. Hope you enjoy it and I'm anxious to see your always fabulous designs take on new life.

What would be cool is if you release your BOM patterns in EQ so we can play with our colors in your patterns!

Will this be a free quilt pattern design, love it. It would be great to be able to buy a kit for what you are designing.

I love the fabric and the design. HOw cool that you can see the quilt before you start to even cut it out.

On point setting and sashing between the blocks. One of my favorite looks!
