Today I want to introduce you to my friend and co-worker
Tracee. She is one of the truly wonderful graphic designers at McCall’s
Quilting. Not only can she take my somewhat cryptic paper and pencil drawings
and turn them into beautiful diagrams she is also an amazing quilter. One of
the best parts about coming in to work on Monday mornings is to see what Tracee
brings in for our somewhat informal “show and tell” sessions. It’s very
inspiring...here is a peak.
This year Tracee has started a new project that I am really excited about and inspired by. See, TODAY is her 36th birthday and she wanted to do something special this year. So she is going to make 36 quilts for special people in her life. That’s 3 quilts per month…YIKES…but if anyone can do it she can. AND the best part is she is going to blog about it, sharing the story behind the quilt and the recipients. Don’t you just love that? You can see her blog at:
Be sure to pop over and wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today and check in throughout the year to give her some encouragement.
