I've been following along with your feathered star tutorials and wow - thank you! I will be making this just to learn everything you've shown!

Well done, Erin! Nice clear photos. I'd like to add that while the Precision Trimmer 6 gives a good clear 1-1/2" dimension, my new Feathered Star Ruler will measure the cut squares in dozens of sizes, giving accurate cuts for measurements in 1/8ths and 1/16ths. These numbers are needed for many of the blocks in the second FS block book.

Hi Erin:
How are you able to place the applique on a darker background since it is hard to see thru. I was thinking about using black but I don't have a clue on how to position the flowers.

My spouse and I absokutely love your blog and find a lot of your post's to be what precisely I'm looking for. can you offer guest writers to write content for you personally? I wouldn't mind creating a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome site!
