For the center block, first do the applique and then cut the block to 28.5"

Everyone makes "bloopers"!
(I have got a Carol Doak Paper Piecing DVD which has a special section just on the "bloopers" made while she was recording. It is so funny!)
It just proves that good patchwork is not always as easy as it looks.
