For those of you who don’t mind random blathering here are a few glimpses of what I have planned for 2011.
Have you ever wondered what to do with one of these?
I have. You see, I love fat quarter bundles. Sometimes one of these little bundles automatically jumps into my shopping cart at The Fat Quarter Shop and ends up on my door step. How does that happen?
Well, I have an idea for a multi-sized block sampler that should just about take care of this sweet little bundle and I plan on sharing it with you. Here is a sort of peak. It’s basically pieced blocks in 4”, 8” and 12” sizes. I said I wanted to do some more piecing didn’t I?
Just to assure you there will be appliqué on that border.
I also have a pattern idea for this bunch of sunshine-y fabrics.
And of course the 2011 Block of the month My Tweets.
Here’s a sneak peak of the patterns I have been working on. If all goes according to plan I will have the info and first pattern up NEXT WEEK! Better go sew!
How exciting! Can't wait to follow along with the upcoming projects. Thanks in advance for sharing with us. Gorgeous fabrics in this post!

Oh this is nice! I was planning to make one of your quilts for my DD for her wedding, and I can completely see this as a wedding quilt.. A boy bird, and a girl bird.. and then stitching in their wedding date. The blocks that follow can be like a family tree.. NICE!

It is the internet equivalent of having a box of chocolates delivered every month! You have shown just enough to wet the appetite!
MMMMmmm Thank you Erin

Judging by the peeks we're getting, I'd say the "Tweets" quilt is going to be irresistable. I think we like the same kinds of fabric-I just ordered some fat quarters of those happy Lakehouse fabrics. Can't wait to see what you make with them.

Count me in for at least the first one. I'm not quite ready for the tweets quilt, but the others...probably.
