Your videos are great. One trick I learned somewhere in blogland is to put one or two pieces of Nexcare tape on the back of the template. Nexcare can be found next to the bandages in your local pharmacy. You put the sticky side on your template. The other side is textured and keeps the fabric from sliding around under the template, just like the little dots on the bottom of rulers. Thanks for sharing your beautiful patterns. I'm still working on block 1 and enjoying every moment!

Hi Erin:
I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you for taking the time to do them and I really missed you when you were gone the whole week.
Linda

Thanks, Erin.

Loved your video. Applique scares me but I may give your flower a try. It doesn't look so frightening.

Great video. Your block is also very cute.

What kind of brush (not neccessarily brand) are you using in your video?

It was great to see that you can correct your mistakes as well.

Thanks for your video!

Thanks Erin, your videos are always well done.

Its just a stencil brush from the craft store, any will do and they arent expensive

I do like sewing/quilting with Aurafil. I'm new to this thread and would love to win more colors.

When I use a mylar template, I put a Sandpaper Dot on the back of it to stop it wriggling about! they are meant to be used as Fabric Grippers for Rulers, they are only small and they work really well.
Thank you for the tutorial.

simply loving this hop. Great patterns for us to try and just viewed the thread video. humm I have sew much thread in my room, but nothing in the machine quilting area, to even come close to these colors. can't wait to piece with it. Carylanne

Stunning colors - and I had no idea how versatile it is - I can't wait to try it!

This is a very pretty block. I can't wait to make this quilt.
