Here is a little trick for you. If you take yesterdays tutorial and substitute the corner blocks with 3 ½” plain squares (4 ½” for 12” block) you get the Ohio Star block. How cool is that! Like a two-for-one isn’t it? I must let you know, I am very partial to Ohio Star blocks since the first quilt I ever made was all Ohio Stars.
Today I am giving away the Triangle Square Up ruler from yesterday’s tutorial, well not the exact one because that’s mine and a little worn, but a BRAND NEW one.
Why? Because it makes me HAPPY and I want to thank all y’all for the love and support through the McCall’s contest (as of writing this I don’t know who won). To enter just leave a comment telling everyone whether or not you are going to sew or watch the Super Bowl this Sunday (in my case I think I will sew AND watch the Super Bowl…like that about appliqué)
Happy Friday!
How did I miss your blog the last couple of days, when I check every day? Hope I'm not too late to have a chance to win the ruler, I really, really, really need one of those! Watched the game, it was great. But am I the only one who thinks the ads were pretty stupid?

Dream is gorgeous when the fact is unmerciful. Sometimes fate is in we have hors , but we only can't alter it.
