If this had been a "judged" competition the outcome would have been different. Kathleens quilt was lovely but yours was outstanding! It certainly brought me into the world of applique! What an inspiration!

I am sorry you didn't win... But I have to confess I loved Kathleens quilt too! I really felt the small picture didn't do your quilt justice!
