I have to say I kinda agree, I'm not a fan of heat. Plus, I feel a little guilty quilting all the time when the weather is nice.
To get over your guilt of quilting on nice days... just do lots of hand work sitting out in the sun!

Congratulations, Fran! Now you will have wonderful inspiration and projects to get away from the Mississippi heat. I know what you mean about Mississippi. As much as I love it, I'll never forget the heat of the fall semester at the W - third floor of un-airconditioned Columbus Hall!
