Such beautifully clear instructions and photos, Erin. Thank you for this - you certainly make it look very achievable :-))

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have found your BLOG! It's one of the best quilting blogs ever. Your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow. I've been using the freezer paper method for quite a while, but am convinced that template plastic (having trouble finding Templar - hope the heat resistant one from JoAnn's will work) is the way to go. Especially for multiples of one shape. I could never get more than 4-5 out of double freezer paper and even then, sometimes the edges would fold in when ironed. I feel like I've just won the jackpot. Can't wait to make some of your wonderful patterns. Thank you so much!

Your work is so gorgeous!!! I appreciate your tutorials~ What a blessing your fresh, crisp applique is~
