I don’t know if any you have noticed but I am now part of the Blogher Network and I’m really thrilled. When I started blogging two years ago I opted to go with Typepad because I liked the clean professional look of their blogs and I didn’t need to know any HTML (a very big PLUS) I have absolutely loved using this blogging platform. Problem is, it costs money. Pattern sales and now Blogher Ads help me offset this cost so I can continue to bring you all the fun BOM’s and tutorials that people seem to like. I’ve found the ads to be very tasteful and if you look below the ad there is a very cool set of links to others blogs that many of you will find relevant. My favorite ads are the ones that include ice cream recipes since I am still operating without air conditioning here!
I have to say that ads do not bother me at all... if they help you to keep blogging... so much the better...I enjoy your blog.

I don't mind the ads either. You are so generous with your patterns that the ads perfectly fine. Thanks for all you do!

I have sometimes wondered how it all "works". I don't even know what HTML means! (I'll have to ask a fourteen year old.)
I found your blog by chance when I googled "applique". It's been thro following your blog that I've got to understand "blogging" and have found some wonderful links - Ivory Spring, All About Applique and Sandra Leichner (and learnt a lot about applique).
I've wondered how come it's all free but I am more than happy to share your page with some ads. Hopefully they will lead to other things.
(Mind you I don't think I will bother with "The Most Shocking Celebrity Splits"!!)
