So, this past Sunday we had our now annual “No Rehearsal Christmas Pageant” at church. We figure, families already have enough craziness this time of year why add a pageant rehearsal. Pretty much every kid that walks in the door that Sunday can be in the pageant if they want to. We have the older kids learn some lines…or read them if they choose. We have Mary and Joseph (of course) come in, followed by a Christmas Hymn. Then shepherds and another hymn, then angels and another hymn…you get the idea. This year my friend Kristy had her dog dressed as a cow. When we got to “Angels we have heard on high…” the dog/cow got really into it….he would basically howl all through the Gloria chorus. Now that puts me in the Christmas spirit!
Ok now I am going to try try to finish that border design…check back Saturday and see how I did
Merry Merry Christmas
This has got to top the Cute LIST...adorable!!
Thanks for sharing!

The first nativity was unrehearsed, so this is the ideal wy to recreate the event.
Merry Christmas

A howling Gloria! Love it! Our church started doing a pageant for the Epiphany with just a couple of rehearsals the first week in January. Merry Christmas!

I once had a bf that was blind and had a seeing eye dog. Our church paid for us to go to Chicago to Willow Creek for a conference. Her dog howled through all the singing. It was so embarrassing!!
I bet you all had a great time. Merry Christmas.
