OK, I have to apologize for the fact that most of my design walls these last few weeks have basically been piles of fabric. I do actually sew stuff from time to time, I really do. My excuse is that it’s January and I’m “planning” my year. Anyway, I found this lovely line of fabric at Fat Quarter Shop a few weeks ago and it made my heart skip a few beats. I LOVE blue and yellow together…especially in florals…so I bought myself some. With all this appliqué lately I have been craving some piecing so I thought I would come up with a pieced sampler quilt to go with these lovelies….stay tuned.
I’m going to be a little hit or miss on the blog this week… I have gobs of paperwork to fill out and I had better be a responsible adult for a couple of days.
Head on over to Judy's blog and prepare to be inspired!!!!
I will be back later to announce the Perfect Ovals winner.
Those fabrics are so pretty. I've been deciding lately that I need to use more yellow in my quilts. It seems to make them happier looking. And being a responsible adult may be necessary from time to time, but it sure isn't as much fun as playing with fabric.

I love the blue and yellows together too. Are some of them from Eleanor Burns? Have fun being an ADULT!

I purchased the fat quarter pack of these when they first became available. I love the colors!

YUMMMMM....Not only are the blue and yellow so cheery, I love it that there are greens in there to spice it up even more. Just lovely spring fabric. Good choice on your part.
