Well I don’t know about where you guys live but spring has sprung here in a serious way. I’ve even been keeping the windows open at night and my husband planted a new peach tree today. Yipeeee!!!!
Good thing my current quilt has spring written all over it. I know it doesn’t look too much different than last week but I have managed to sew some bias stems around that scalloped edging. Here’s a shot of the stitching in progress…as you can see my handy ipod is there reading stories to me…my current favorite is Emma by Jane Austen read by Juliet Stevenson…heaven.
Head on over to Judy’s blog for some really great inspiration.
Happy Spring!! What a wonderful way to welcome the season - with such a beautiful quilt!! ~karen

It amazes me that you do all that applique by hand...I'm jealous! My hands are old and used up so I have to limit my handwork. I do use your methods alot when I machine applique!

Will we be seeing this pattern on your blog soon? I always love your fabric choices and would love you to share them when you aren't pulling from your stash and don't remember (lol).

I'm stunned. your quilt is gorgeous. All that applique must have taken ages. It was worth it. I love it.
