Hello Erin,

Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy of Marie's book. I just love reading, so don't really have a favourtie, this way I get to learn about so many things.
Happy days.

I love "life" stories, something with characters I can believe. If they have a little mystery involved, that is good! (but nothing gory!)I love to read waiting for the bus in the morning. I have been so involved in a story that I almost missed the bus, I didn't hear it pull up! :)

I used to read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy books with a few odd trashy romance novels thrown in.
These days I like reading books like Marie's or Nancy Thayer's Hot Flash books. They are more about women and their lives and often leave you feeling uplifted.
I also like historical fiction that relates to the 1500's.
Lately though, I've been reading a lot of non-fiction books about foods, eating right, and health topics! I like variety. :)

I love so many genres....I like to mix it up! Mysteries, history, comedy, you name it, I'll read it...oh except Sci-Fi stuff, it just doesn't grab me. Anything I can lose myself in is a winner. And the best place to read? Snuggled up by the fire or cozied up in bed! Thanks so much for the give-away.

I love to read mysteries. I carry a book with me all the time. It cuts down the frustion of waiting and makes my time enjoyable.

I read quilt novels and detective novels. I read mostly on the treadmill!! Thanks, Erin.

I'm a sucker for thrillers - mystery, legal, medical - but not paranormal. I groove to biography, historical fiction, and quilt books too. And I prefer reading at my neighborhood Burger King. A good read following a tasty lunch, sitting in the sunshine, is unbeatable.

you make reading sound so exciting. I think your needing to earn a living, taking care of family etc is getting in the way of your passion to read.....of and quilt.

I like romance and most any kind of fiction. Fiction with quilting is just the best. I read in bed the most.

I love the works of Alexander McCall Smith. I have recently been fascinated with the stories of Agatha Raisin. I also have been searching and reading any crafty mystery books that come along. Knitting, needlework, QUILTING mysteries are so much fun to read. I love it when the "hobby" is a real part of the story, not just overlaid to get a audience.

I love mysteries, and read them on the sofa, covered with a quilt. Kathie L in Allentown

My favorite genre is mystery, but I read almost EVERYTHING. Where, anywhere that there is enough light, but my favorite spot is in my recliner with a cup of hot tea.

I usually like fiction...most of the time something light as I get bombarded with so much in our real world so I like to read uplifting or inspiring books. I think my favorite place to read is anywhere I can find to sneak in a few pages!

I LOVE to read and read just about anything/anywhere. If I had to pick, I'd say my favorites were literary fiction, classics, and most mysteries. My favorite place to read is sitting on my recliner - MY chair - this is where I "play" on my laptop, do handwork, knit, and read.
PS - I LOVE your blog!!!

Fiction of all types, depends on my mood, sometimes I want a good laugh...or need to be mystified...or travel the universe, where no man(or woman) has gone...just depends on the day. Favorite place? All snuggled up in bed, under my quilt, just me, my book, one snoring hubby and a couple of 'furry' kids helping me turn the pages.

I am not sure I have a favorite genre- I like lots of different kinds of fiction but especially stories about people- they can be love stories or not ( one of my favorites is The Help ). I do love reading stories that include quilting as part of the story and have read a number of series - just not any of Marie's unfortunately.
Thanks for the chance to win such a nice book.

I love to read. I go through phases of genre's. Lately it has been police procedurals. I read just about everywhere I can. A book, or my Kindle, is with me all the time and I am ready for any reading time that presents itself.

I like to read a mixture of fiction and nonfiction, but I lean more toward fiction. Combine fiction and quilting and it's a great read! I read almost anywhere I am, but I like it best when I'm in a quiet place and can read for a long time at a stretch. A beach on Hawaii comes to mind.

I love to read anything quilting and mysteries, preferrably in the tub:) or anytime I have a couple minutes - which is why I always carry a paperback in my purse

My favorite reading place in the most of the time is on my back porch. Thanks for the chance to win a copy of this book.

I haven't read any of Maria's books, but they sound wonderful. I'd love to read it .greetings from Belgium

too funny....I read the first comment I saw left here and thought...have I already commented? :-) It sounded just like me!
I love to read character novels at home alone :-) on my couch or front porch. And I can't wait to read this one! Thanks for hosting the giveaway.

I love mysteries, but also love "folksy" type stories where you just really get to know the characters. I love to curl up on the corner of the couch with a nice hot cup of tea...Hope I win Marie's new book!

I always read fiction. I'm very particular about the type of books I read. I love quilting related stories, civil war era stories, Christian stories. Good wholesome stuff...That's what I like. So this sounds to be right up my alley. I like to cuddle up in my comfy chair and read. Thanks for the chance to win.

My favorite genre is mystery, ever better when it is a quilt mystery. I love to read in a cozy stuffed chair.
Thanks for participating in the blog hop and for sharing.
