No, sorry, no Block 9 yet. I did think of a few more construction tips for you though….
The flower in this block has some inner points. For the flower top I pressed the inner points first. Then I did the rest of the flower.
For the flower, I pressed these lower edges first. This way the fabric holds the template in place while I press the rest of the top.
The base of the flower can be treated like a perfect circle…because it’s sort of “circle-ish”. So I took a running stitch in the seam allowance.
Pulled tight.
Starched and pressed.
Check back tomorrow for the actual Block 9.
Loving these posts. Thanks!

What tool do you use to help you draw those curves so lovely? And then you draw the exact opposite to perfection.. It is baffling to me. And you do it all on construction paper. I have a hard time drawing a straight line, and the lines are already there on the paper, LOL.

You make me want to start quilting "my Tweets" quilt but it's still too hot here, still in the 90's, love it though, have 3 months of winter to quilt.
Love the colors in your new "bird." Yummy!

Did you clip those inner points first? You make it look so easy, yet I still have such a difficult time. Pretty soon I'm going to give up and resort to using wonder under and a the button hole stitch!
