A couple of days ago I was just doing my boring old daily dog walk when I felt something a little dodgy go on in my knee. It was a little weird the rest of that day but over night it kinda turned into the monster knee from hell. Kinda swollen and really sore! Yesh!
So that, combined with some big work projects and some family members needing a little TLC I am going to be a little missing in action from this here blog for a bit. I will be back in a couple of weeks with Applique Block #3 (hopefully) and I just have to tell you..it has a cardinal on it.
Erin, I hope the knee isn't too serious. Pamper that knee and don't feel bad about doing it! That sweet doggy looks very understanding.

Oh no ... A couple weeks without my morning "newspaper" ... Although I will miss your daily blogs, I certainly wish you a speedy recovery with your knee, success at your job and projects and the love of quality time with family.

Ibuprofen 800mg every 4 hours to releave the swelling. Heat and ice to help with it also. Stay off of it for a while. Good time to applique. We have to take care of our girl.

Do what you have to do to take care of yourself. All else will fall into place (no pun intended).

I'm going to miss reading your Blog. Work projects, family and your knee must come first. Hope it's nothing serious. Take care.

Oh Erin what a dreadful situation. I hope your knee settles down. Take it easy and give it all the time it needs to heal. Sometimes rushing it, makes things worse.
I had a similar situation with one of my dogs. It took my body a while to heal.

I hope your knee improves very quickly. I have had 2 knee replacements, and it is way, way better than being in chronic pain. Hope all the TLC to others comes back to you as well.
You need a guest blogger! Then you wouldn't feel guilty for time for yourself. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Am going to miss you a lot! But family and your own health come first. We will have to bide our time by looking at your old posts and working on the lovely cardinal blocks. This is a very sweet project!
Take care of yourself and come back soon to us!

I will miss my morning visits with Erin. I can commiserate -- I had a similar injury in September. So hoping for a quick recovery -- take care of you! With kind regard, Judy

OUCH! Rest, elevate, ice! I am sure the most difficult part of that will be the rest...like staying off of it sitting still..not doing much of anything but elevating your leg. I hope it will be feeling better soon!!

Oh my, that's awful! I hope your knee heals quickly. Sounds like you need to spend some time with your leg elevated, an ice pack and some applique in your hands! Feel better!
