One of the best things I get to do at McCall’s Quilting (and there are tons of fun things to do at work) is work with great designers. Gerri Robinson of Planted Seed Designs has been one of my favorites from the get go. So, as you might imagine, when she asked me to adapt some embroidery patterns to appliqué patterns I jumped at the chance. It was so much fun! This quilt is the result! Gerri wrote a wonderful post about our collaboration that you can read here:

Gerri is offering these appliqué kits on her website as individual blocks, a table runner, and as a quilt. All of you who have asked for appliqué with fabric here is your chance!
Thank you so much Gerri, and let’s do that again!
Gorgeous! The appliqué is a wonderful adaptation and Geri's fabrics are lovely too. I'll be watching for it to come out.

Awesome pattern. I appreciate the overall balance and scale. I have three projects currently. This is a tempting fourth.
