I have been meaning to re-do my cutting and pressing area for years, I mean YEARS. So this past weekend I finally did. I bought a kitchen island from IKEA and my son and I built it. It's perfect...and now I even have a little extra storage!

that's great. I have a small kitchen island that I use for a cutting table - it is the right height to use too - no bending over!
