I still plan on writing more on this in the future but here is my update as of today. I lost 34 pounds, that's 2 pant sizes, this past year by doing some very simple things. I walked...a LOT. Actually the walking got so easy for me that I started running and am now planning on running a 5K. It helped that my son walked with me every day after work for the whole summer...and even in winter when he is home we head out.
To learn to run a 5K I downloaded the Couch to 5K APP for my phone:
And I started weight training:
I didn't really diet though. I hate diets. I just ate more plants (now that is pretty much all I eat)...and drank less wine to be truthful. The best part is I sleep much better...and I don't have heartburn anymore.
