How cute, Erin! Good for you! And I especially love that your computer monitor is wearing a moustache. :-)

Go for it!! I don't have a ball, but I do my sewing in such a way that I have to get up and move as much as possible (iron is 15 feet away, for example). I've been toying with figuring out a way to make a standing station with a machine . . .

My ball popped! That's what happens when you combine sewing with exercise!! haha Those darn pins!

I have considered purchasing one of those balls for desk work with hopes that it will strengthen lower back. Keep us posted.

I wonder how long I would last on the ball before ending up on the floor, not long I'm afraid.

The ball is great. You don't realize the muscles that are working as you sit there and sew. I had a physiotherapist recommend this exercise ball for me before I had a hip replacement. It worked well.

Good for you! Have been doing the ball chair for years - before I switched to a swopper chair which takes less space and you can't fall off. Yes, it was much cheaper back then, too...
