Well, not really. I'm still working on my Happy Dance block. This is a preview of where I'm going with this quilt. Basically I am re-making one quilt and adding an applique border from another quilt. It's going to be a BOM in 2015...and it's called Be Happy (my original name was taken, sorry for the confusion). Here I am playing with how these will look combined and I had to do it black and white because the colors are so different in each quilt. The applique border will be slightly different but you get the idea.
OK, i hope that wasn't hopelessly confusing....
Be sure to check out Judy's blog for some more Monday morning inspiration!
So pretty! I love the border, it really makes the quilt sing. I can't wait to start the blocks. I have the center pattern but haven't decided on colors yet. Thank you for sharing!

Hello Erin, I arrived here a few days back, I think I was googling medallion quilts. I downloaded the corner block from the Mimi quilt, which I wanted to take to my quilt group this afternoon, to hand sew. I have never done hand applique and I thought this block was a good place to start!
Thankyou for sharing all those lovely flower blocks and tutorials.
Best wishes Kath in England

I have just discovered your blog and am totally, madly in love! I have been trying to refine my appliqué style and am definitely finding a home here. I will be starting on the Jingle blocks and spending the rest of the time working my way through all your back posts and tips. Thanks for such great content.

I know that your quilts are normally colorful, but the way this is shown in blacks/whites/grays is really striking! I might have to work on collecting grays to add to my stash of blacks and whites. ;-)
