One of the hundred million wonderful things about my job is that I get to meet so many great quilters. Marsha McCloskey is one of my all time quilting hero's and she came to town last week to film a video course on her Radiant Star quilt...SWOON!
Besides my applique addiction I have a bit of a feathered star addiction as well. These actually are pictures from around my house.
This is my entry way (and yes that is a box of dog treats by the front door).
This is my piano
And this is my powder room.
Here are some funny things Marsha and I have in common. We both use Bernina sewing machines (she even used mine on set!) and we both own irons that are 20 years old that we love and are unable to find replacements for.
I will keep you posted about when her course will be available. You wont want to miss it!
AAAHH, You are so lucky! Swoon for sure!

What gorgeous quilts you've made to display in your home. May I ask where you got the wooden hanger you've displayed your quilt on in your entryway? I really like it.
Thanks,
Kath

Erin, you are sooooo luck. She is one of my quilty hero's as well. Enjoy and thanks for the look at some of you piecing. Beautiful.

Your feathered star quilts are gorgeous, Erin! I have that yellow floral fabric in my stash, the one you used on the quilt by your front door. I love that fabric and used a bit of it for some Dresden plates once, but the rest of it is just waiting for the perfect project to come along...
Have you ever thought of doing one of your BOM pieced and appliqued quilts with a feathered star center?
