If you are making the version with 9" blocks you will need a different center block. A 27" block is the size you will need. My pattern Miss Mimi would work perfectly.

Is it possible for you to provide pictures or a short video on how to make the teeny tiny bird beaks? Yours look so crisp and neat; mine not so much.
Other than that, my blocks are coming along nicely. I'm very excited. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us.
