Back in the fall, when I designed the Home Again BOM, I had NO IDEA how apropos the name would be. Many of you have asked if the Welcome Home quilt would make a good center block. Thankfully, friend of the blog Becky Fielder used her EQ skills to come up with some ways to make this work. Here is her choice for the 7 inch block version:

I really love these! So, when I give the final construction details I will include these.

Workshop Wednesday: My Secret Weapon

I know this isn't sewing related but one thing that REALLY helps me stay sane is exercise. Several years ago I really started working on improving my health and was able to lose about 60 lbs in the process. The key was exercise but along the way I found I really enjoyed it too. Last year I decided to buy an inexpensive spin bike. Of course I wanted one of those expensive ones but I couldn't justify the cost. Turns out the cheap one works just fine! Since I always do better with someone telling me what to do I use a phone app to take classes and it's a blast! I figure that it just about counteracts the amount of time I sit stitching.

My Latest Mask

Hello friends! This past weekend I decided to try a more comfortable mask since it looks like we will be needing these for a while. I find this Comfort Mask from Modern Quilt Studio very nice to wear for going out and about. You can find the pattern here:
