Bluebird's Piece O'cake

This quilt won 2nd place in Traditional Applique, Wall size at Road To California in 2010
This quilt started with a series of blocks from Piece O'cake Designs. I designed the center medallion and the border to pull it all together.It is hand appliqued and was quilted by Karen Dovala. The patterns can be found in The New Applique Sampler, Applique Delights and Flowering Favorites all by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins.

This quilt is my own design.There are 12 applique fish set with a pieced fish setting. It one second place in 2004.The applique was all done by hand and the quilting was done by Karen Dovala.
